Online form to apply for a criminal record certificate
www.help.gv.atApply online for an Austrian Criminal Record Certificate (Strafregisterbescheinigung). To apply online for a criminal record certificate, you will need to be registered with 
ID Austria. The applicant must appear in person at the responsible authority at least once except when applying online (ID Austria or EU Login), either when they submit their application or when they collect their certificate, in order to verify their identity.
Applications can also be made at your local state police department (Landespolizeidirektion), police department(Landespolizeikommisariat), Mayor's Office or at Austrian Embassies and Consulates abroad.
