Certificates of Freedom to Marry (no impediment to marriage) are issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. You must apply online for a Certificate of Freedom to Marry and forward a hard copy of the supporting documentation.

Certified copies of will and grants can be ordered from the Probate Registry Office that issued the grant. Police Certificates are issued by the Superintendent and/or Assistant Principal Officer within the Division where the applicant resides, or formerly resided, in the Republic of Ireland.
