Apostilles on Iceland Criminal Record Certificates are available from the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A paper certificate is required, which can be obtained from any District Commissioner office (printed digital certificates are not valid).

Icelandic degree certificates and course transcripts can be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after being notarised by a District Commissioner (notarius publicus). Degree certificates required for submission to authorities in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are then attested by the embassy in London.
