Apostille Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates in India for use in the United States and abroad
We attest Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates issued in India with Apostille stamps from the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
Birth, marriage and death certificates issued in India can be certified in Delhi with a Hague Convention Apostille stamp from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
Indian Apostilles are usually processed in less than a week and delivered worldwide by courier.
Authorities of countries that have signed the Hague Apostille Convention will recognise the Apostille directly as confirmation of authenticity. Otherwise, the authentication must be legalized by the destination country's embassy in Delhi (for example, certificates required for submission to United Arab Emirates - Qatar - Thailand - Taiwan - Vietnam).

Indian Apostilles on Birth, death and marriage certificates can often be obtained from a good quality scan, so that there is no need to send your original to India. A high resolution colour printout of the scan will be certified by a notary as a true copy. This will then be attested by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate before being submitted to the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi for an Apostille stamp.
Mariage Certificates issued by religious authorities are not eligible for an Apostille.
If your original certificate is in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati etc., a certified translation into English can be made in India and notarized. Apostille Stamps can then be affixed to both the original certificate and to the translation.
Isarey will take care of the entire process in India for you. We offer individual assistance certifying your documents and a dedicated project manager to ensure that each process is carried out efficiently and securely.
We deliver apostille certificates to clients worldwide by secure courier.
Germany has objected to the accession of certain States to the Apostille Convention (including India), so that the Convention does not apply between Germany and India. Indian documents required for use in Germany may also require additional attestation by the German embassy or by the Indian embassy in Berlin.

Certified translations of Indian death, marriage and birth certificates
When presenting Indian marriage, death and birth certificates and other vital records in countries which do not have English as an official language, then a certified translation may be required. The certified translation must meet the requirements of the destination country, so that a translation done locally in India may not be valid.
If your original certificate is in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati etc., a certified translation into English can be made in India and notarized. Apostille Stamps can then be affixed to both the original certificate and to the translation.
